We started of the year with lessons on the role of ethics within the engineering field. These lessons not only outlined what ethics in engineering looked like, it highlighted the necessary steps one can take while designing, building, and testing to act in an ethical manner. This knowledge will be vital in my capstone project next semester as it's taught me how to go about the process of creating a functional device while acting ethically. This has also inspired me to build a device that in itself is ethical in the sense that it can be used for betterment rather then harm.

Aside from working on the JPL project, I've spent my time researching colleges, writing college apps, studying for test, and doing classwork. Additionally I'm preparing for my driving test and starting a new job. I've also been making time to hang out with friends as I want to make time for the things I enjoy while juggling the rest. I will continue to prioritize my academic success and keep preparing for college. Additionally, i'll keep balancing all my responsibilities and am excited to see my senior year continue.
